Hi and welcome to Autograph Interiors.  My name is Karen and my business is based in Horncastle on the edge of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds.  The driving force behind Autograph is my passion for architecture and for all things ‘interior’ combined with creative flair and great spatial awareness.

On my site you will find examples of some of my projects as well as hints, tips and latest news from the world of Interior Design. I will include things that inspire me and new products as I come across them, plus anything else I think may be of interest. I would welcome your comments on anything you see and please let me have your suggestions for future features.

    what you’ve started and achieved since 2007, I’ve just started, and I’ve been inspired by people like you who does not give up their passion and dreams. I assure you my way is maybe 100 time more difficult than yours, but I’ll keep looking forward clearing my way through to achieve my dream in the architecture and interior design.

    Hi Karen,

    I am now doing my FdA with NDA after completing my diploma. It a bit daunting after the diploma but I am very excited to be finally chasing my dream. I read your story on the NDA website …. I have also gone back to do what I dreamed of years ago and I would like to say your story is very inspiring. Good luck to you Karen and wish you all the very best success with your business.

    Hello Karen,

    I am a beginner interior designer, and I just got my first job with an architect. We are designing a small hair salon in Arizona.
    I saw your beautiful proposal for the Beauty Salon and I am wondering if you can tell me where to get the CAD blocks for salons (the shampoo sinks, stations, etc). I can’t find anything for free. Maybe you could come up with some helpful tips 🙂

      Hi Paulina.
      I drew the Salon plans using ‘Smart Draw’. Its been a while since I did them but if I remember correctly I had to create those particular blocks myself as I had the same trouble as you and could not find exactly what I wanted. Hope your design is a great success and all the best in your career as a designer.
